1. Dentures may move during eating, causing difficulty in chewing and an unpleasant experience.
2. Dentures are spread all over the upper and lower gums area, which may make them uncomfortable for the patient.
3. Dentures do not grip well if there is not enough gum available for the denture base.
4. Hence, for added grip, a few implants are placed, which have a button-type attachment coming out in the gums area (as seen in the picture).
5. A similar attachment is placed in the denture and joined to the implant attachment.
6. This reduces or stops the movement of the denture during eating, providing a pleasurable experience of having food.
